Our comfortable rooms are just steps from our surf shop and Kata Beach. There's even a 7-Eleven nearby to stock up on essentials for your stay.

Rooms are spacious, all with private bathrooms and balconies (beach view or street view).

Each day, you'll receive 3 hours of surf instruction divided into two sessions of one and a half hours each, usually one in the morning and one in the afternoon. One of our experienced instructors will be there to guide you throughout the course.

Phuket might surprise you as a surf destination!

While Thailand isn't traditionally known for surfing, Phuket's west coast offers unique conditions for catching waves.

Sheltered by the Andaman Sea and the Nicobar Islands to the east, and Sumatra Island (south of Malaysia) to the southwest, Phuket benefits from swells rolling in from the Indian Ocean, particularly those originating north of Sumatra.

This creates proper waves for surfing right here on Phuket!

Prime Surfing Season:

Phuket's best waves roll in during the green season, typically from May to November, with occasional surf even into December. This coincides with Thailand's dry season, making it a perfect time to experience both surfing and sunshine.

Waves for All Levels:

Thanks to the monsoon winds, swells can reach up to good size, ideal for both beginner surfers and experienced riders looking for a challenge. The variety of surf spots on the west coast allows surfers of all skill levels to find their perfect wave.

Surfing Equipment:

SSS Phuket provides all the equipment you'll need for your surf or SUP lessons. If any equipment breaks during the lesson due to normal wear and tear, SSS Phuket will take care of repairs.

Liability:

Please note that student injuries are not the responsibility of SSS Phuket or its instructors. It's highly recommended to have personal accident insurance to cover any medical expenses in case of injury.
